J.J. Watt and the Houston Texans will be tasked with trying to slow down Lamar Jackson on Sunday versus the Baltimore Ravens. Greg Roman, the offensive coordinator of the Ravens, compared Watt to Jackson ahead of Sunday's much-anticipated matchup.

“Year-after-year, I’ve seen him wreck games, and he has a very unique style,” Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman said about the Texans talent, via Sports Illustrated's Todd Karpovich. “I told the players, ‘He’s like Lamar [Jackson] when Lamar runs the ball; it’s really hard to get a good hit on him.’ J.J. plays in the interior D-line, and it’s really hard to get a good block on him. He’s very unique in his style, and he’s one of the all-time greats. So, we’re excited about the challenge.”

Of course, both JJ Watt and Lamar Jackson play completely different positions for their respective teams. Jackson is the franchise quarterback for the Ravens and has become a headache for opposing defensive coordinators to gameplan against.

On the other hand, Watt has consistently been a disrupting force in the interior of Houston's defensive line. However, both of them are dominant players that can change the outlook of a game on any given play.

Heading into Sunday's contest, the Texans are viewed as the underdogs against the Ravens. Houston lost in Week 1 to the Kansas City Chiefs and now will have to face a well-rounded Baltimore squad in Week 2.

It is going to take everyone on Houston's defense to prevent Jackson from putting together another stellar performance. While it will take everyone, Roman realizes just how good Watt can be — even at 31 years old.
