The Houston Texans managed to snag a win from the Oakland Raiders, but the victory came at a price. They lost JJ Watt to a torn pec that will keep him out for the remainder of the season.
The 30-year-old is devastated by the news that he wouldn't be able to play with his guys for the remainder of the season. He is still due for an MRI, but he's already spoken up about his injury to his Twitter followers.
He revealed that he was disappointed with his injury but promises to come back stronger than ever.
This game can be beautiful and it can also be brutal. Absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to finish the season with my guys and give the fans what they deserve. I truly love this game and can’t stand letting you guys down. Thank you for all of the thoughts & well-wishes.

The injury stopped Watt from completing what looked to be a solid season of football from him. In the seven games he started, he notched 21 tackles, two pass deflections, one forced fumbles, four sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
Moreover, this latest injury raises a few questions about his overall health as a player. Whenever he's healthy, he's an easy First-Team All-Pro defender. He proved just that in 2018 when he finished with 61 tackles, four pass deflections, seven forced fumbles, and 16 sacks. However, he's been injured in three of the last four seasons he's been with the Texans. He only completed three games in 2016. His 2017 season was also cut short by injuries as he only managed to make five starts.
It's unlikely that the Texans will trade him as he's an integral part of their defense. However, they need stability in that position. Not having Watt on the roster does the team more harm than good.
