United States Gymnastics legend Simone Biles dealt some amazing news to her fanbase early Tuesday morning. Biles, who has been dating Houston Texans DB Jonathan Owens, revealed via social media that is now officially a fianceé. Biles took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off some photos of Owens getting on one knee and proposing to her, which she eagerly and ecstatically accepted.

In her social media post regarding the announcement, Biles left a caption reading, “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ” alongside a series of emojis.
Biles and Owens reportedly met on a dating app back in 2020 and have been together ever since. Owens told Texas Monthly that he and Biles began seeing each other right at the start of the pandemic. The Texans' defender revealed that he admitted to Biles that he was unaware of who she was at the time, something he believes worked in his favor.
“I didn’t know who she was,” said Owens. “I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked.”
Biles, 24, is one of the most decorated U.S. Gymnasts of all time, having won seven total Olympic medals, including four golds. Owens, on the other hand, is 26, and a special teams player for the Houston Texans. He featured in seven games for the Texans this season, starting twice, recording one interception and 18 tackles.
