Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil briefly left his team's win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday due to an ankle injury, but he returned after a few plays and finished the game.

As you may have expected, the injury does not appear to be too serious.

“I don't think it's too bad,” Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said, according to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

Tunsil added that he feels “good,” saying the injury is merely “part of football.”

Houston landed Tunsil in a trade with the Miami Dolphins late last month with the hope that he would improve what was a shoddy offensive line that allowed Deshaun Watson to be sacked 62 times last year.

But thus far, the Texans' offensive line hasn't fared much better.

After allowing six sacks in a 30-28 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, Houston allowed three more sacks against the Jaguars on Sunday, meaning the Texans are allowing 4.5 sacks per game over the first two weeks.

Translated over a full 16-game campaign, that would come out to 72 sacks, so, obviously, the Texans' offensive line is not getting the job done early.

The good news is that there is plenty of time for the line to gel, and it did fare better on Sunday than it did a week ago.

Tunsil, who played his collegiate football at the University of Mississippi, was originally selected by the Dolphins in the first round (13th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Since then, the 25-year-old has established himself as one of the better left tackles in the league.
