Houston Texans veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb has already been a journeyman in his nine-year playing career. He has seen and played with a handful of the elite quarterbacks in the league.

Houston Chronicle reporter Aaron Wilson disclosed the opinion of Cobb on Twitter:

The former Kentucky Wildcat was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 64th pick in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent the majority of his career playing in Wisconsin with veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers from 2011-2018. During his multi-year stint, he was able to garner a PFWA NFL All-Rookie Team selection in 2011 and a Pro Bowl appearance in 2015.

On March 19, 2019, he then took his talents to Dallas and signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Cowboys. In his lone season playing with Dak Prescott, Cobb finished with 55 receptions for 828 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

On April 1, 2020, he found a new home and signed a three-year, $27 million contract with the Houston Texans. His arrival to the team was timely as the Texans recently lost one of the league's best receivers in DeAndre Hopkins in a blockbuster trade during the offseason.

The team ended its 2019 campaign with a 10-6 record to clinch the AFC South division title, just a game ahead of runner-up Tennessee Titans. However, they didn't last long in the playoffs as they eventually met the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC semi-final game to lose, 51-31.

Cobb will be looking to contribute to the Texans' bid to defend their divisional crown in the upcoming season. More importantly, the new-look Texans will be gunning for a deeper playoff run this time around.

Head coach Bill O' Brien and the rest of his squad will be bannering the 2020 kickoff game against the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on September 10.
