On Saturday night, the Houston Texans will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Pennsylvania.

Texans running back Lamar Miller has been ruled out for their Week 16 matchup against the Eagles.

Miller has been the lead back and extremely vital for the Texans offense. Through the 13 games, he's ran for 917 yards and scored four touchdowns. He's averaged 4.8 yards per attempt and has averaged over 70 yards per carry.

He's had a comeback season for the Texans, as Miller is very talented but can be very inconsistent with his rushes.

Miller’s longest run of the season was a 97 touchdown run versus the Tennessee Titans. His 917 rushing yards are the third highest in his career and the second highest with the Texans. He ranks eighth in the league in rushing yards. He's been very effective for the Texans.

The Houston Texans are 10-4 on the season in the AFC South Division under head coach Bill O'Brien. Their offense has been very potent, as they've scored 25.1 points per game which ranks 11th in the NFL. But their defense has been even better, ranking fifth in the NFL giving up only 20.1 points per game.

DeShaun Watson, second-year quarterback out of Clemson, has been huge for the Texans this season. He's thrown for 3,592 yards with 24 touchdowns and only nine interceptions. He has a quarterback rating of 60.1 and a completion percentage of 67.7 percent.

J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney have combined for a total of 22.5 sacks on the season, carrying the defense for the Texans.

The Texans will play the Eagles this upcoming Sunday and then will finish out the season Jacksonville Jaguars at home.
