Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller is expected to be ready to play in Week 1, according to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

Fuller was limited to just seven games this past season due to a torn ACL. When he was on the field, he caught 32 passes for 503 yards and four touchdowns.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Notre Dame, was originally selected by the Texans in the first round (21st pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He appeared in 14 contests during his rookie campaign, hauling in 47 receptions for 635 yards and a couple of scores. Then, the following year, Fuller participated in just 10 games due to injury, snaring 28 balls for 423 yards while reaching the end zone seven times.

When he is healthy, Fuller is a crucial part of Houston's offense, but his problem has obviously been staying on the field, as he is yet to play a full season throughout his three-year NFL career.

However, with Fuller seeming ready to go for 2019, the Texans should be getting a big boost to a receiving corps that also includes DeAndre Hopkins and second-year wide out Keke Coutee.

Houston won 11 games and captured the AFC South division title this past year, but was eliminated by the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.

Since becoming an NFL franchise in 2002, the Texans have not made it past the Divisional Round of the postseason.

They have, however, won three of the last four AFC South division crowns.
