The Deshaun Watson trade rumors have been swirling all offseason, but there hasn't been a lot of advancements lately. However, the Houston Texans quarterback, despite dealing with legal issues, could be traded in the next few days, according to sources close to Pro Football Talk.

There are apparently several NFL executives who believe Watson will be on the move. We already know that he doesn't want to be in Houston anymore and there are two specific teams who are expected to be the frontrunners to land Deshaun Watson. The Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins.

Carolina has Sam Darnold as their QB1, but they're still interested in acquiring a franchise QB. Watson fits that mold. As for Miami, Tua Tagovailoa is at the helm, but he's still learning the ropes of the league.

However, any team that ultimately trades for Deshaun Watson would face the risk of having a quarterback who is unavailable to play. Keep in mind, he's facing serious allegations, with numerous women coming forward and saying that Watson has sexually assaulted them in the past. There are also doubts if a franchise would even want a player around who has been accused of such allegations.

This Deshaun Watson situation will be an interesting one to keep an eye on.
