Speculations continue to fill the headlines and spiral around the Deshaun Watson saga with the Houston Texans. The 25-year-old quarterback is reportedly angered about the team's recent actions, primarily after failing to interview Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for the vacant head coaching job.

Even though Watson's contract includes a no-trade clause, he can still opt to aggressively pursue a trade and has reportedly considered the Miami Dolphins as his next destination, per Chris Mortensen. A rumored deal could reportedly involve Tua Tagovailoa and additional assets sent to Houston in exchange for the three-time Pro Bowler.

It was recently reported that Texans CEO Cal McNair wanted to involve Deshaun Watson in their search for a new head coach and a general manager. The quarterback's desire for Bieniemy to be interviewed as a potential candidate was not heeded by the Texans. Watson was also blindsided by McNair's decision to hire longtime New England Patriots executive Nick Caseiro as the team's new general manager.

Miami has become a promising destination as of late because of its huge turnaround in the 2020 season. The Dolphins quickly went from one of the cellar-dwellers in the league to a squad that barely missed the playoffs with a 10-6 record in a year's span.

Moreover, they are also looking like a piece or two away from forming a roster that is capable of making the postseason for the years to come.

On the other hand, the Texans are still not looking to trade away the disgruntled Watson who they still deem as their franchise quarterback. However, a change of scenery could be best for both sides if Deshaun Watson's frustrations still persist in the months to come.
