Houston Texans franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson found star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for a 38-yard gain on the team's final possession of the first half of a wild, wild AFC Divisional Round matchup between their team and the Kansas City Chiefs (via NFL).

The Texans later missed a game-tying field goal as time expired in the second quarter on that same drive, with placekicker Ka'imi Fairbairn knocked the football slightly to the right of the uprights.

Houston enters halftime, remarkably, down four points after going up by a three-touchdown margin in the first quarter of Sunday's bout.

Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, last season's MVP, threw four second-quarter touchdowns including finding the hands of tight end Travis Kelce.

Despite not converting a field goal or touchdown on the final drive of the first half, the Texans are still in a good position to win today's game as long as they limit the damage Mahomes makes on offense.
