The Indianapolis Colts were able to come up with a crucial stop on fourth down to put an end to a promising drive by the Houston Texans drive at the start of the second half. It seems it was only a matter of time before Houston returned the favor.

The Texans' defense managed to answer back with a big stop of their own after quarterback Jacoby Brissett was tackled by outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett just short of the first-down marker to get the ball back, via The Checkdown:

The stop on defense ultimately ended any hope Indianapolis had of either tying the game up or reclaiming the lead. Houston's offense was able to do their part by getting a first down to close out the game and secure a pivotal 20-17 victory.

The Texans have managed to take back their top spot in the AFC south while evening up the series matchup with the Colts. They now find themselves in control of their own playoff destiny heading down the final stretch of the 2019 NFL season.
