The Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills are squaring off in a Wild Card round matchup. Buffalo jumped out to a 16-0 lead but Houston stormed back.

Soon, the Texans found themselves with a 19-16 lead and were trying to keep the Bills from scoring late in the fourth quarter. On a fourth-down play, Houston linebacker Jacob Martin was the one to come up with the big play, sacking Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen for a massive 19-yard loss.

The first thing that most people are noticing is the boneheaded play by Allen. This is simply inexperience. He basically ran backward. His head was not even looking forward, so it's not like he could throw it away at any point either, he was at the point of no return.

Even with Allen's great speed and athleticism, Martin caught up to him and brought him down. This put the Texans in a wonderful field position with under two minutes to go in the game.

Although the Bills did get the ball back, this play proved to be detrimental. It put Buffalo in a situation where when they did get the ball back, they were in much worse field position than they were before, and with less time on the clock, and fewer timeouts as well.

The Bills did manage to march down the field and attempt a game-tying field goal, which they did hit with just a few seconds left on the clock. Had that sack not occurred though, maybe the Bills found their way into the end zone as well and did not have to sweat out overtime with the Texans at all.
