The Texas Tech Red Raiders are set to visit with 2020 5-star guard Nimari Burnett on Tuesday, according to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.

Texas Tech head coach Chris Beard and assistant coach Ulric Maligi will meet with the 6-3 combo guard, who currently attends Prolific Prep in California.

Burnett announced his top four back in early September, with Alabama, Michigan, and Oregon joining the Red Raiders in the group.

He is rated as the No. 5 combo guard and No. 22 player overall in the 2020 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.

Burnett has taken official visits to all four schools and will undoubtedly be a huge addition no matter which team he ultimately chooses to commit to.

Of course, the Red Raiders have a ton of momentum on the recruiting trail right now after advancing to the national championship game last season, and that could play a big role in Burnett's choice.

Texas Tech notched a top 20 class for this college basketball season, which includes a pair of 4-star talents in Jahmius Ramsey and Terrence Shannon. Beard also brought in two impact transfers in Chris Clarke and TJ Holyfield.

The Red Raiders will try to keep their hot streak going when they tip off the new campaign on Nov. 5 against Eastern Illinois.
