Riot Games Teamfight Tactics (TFT) developer Craftbrew has quite of a huge news upon us Tacticians. TFT Set 6.5 is near as we celebrate the Gifts of the Golden Lantern now this patch. The Neon Nights Mid-Set update will focus on the Gizmos & Gadgets formula. There will be fresh new Hextech Augments coming to us on the mid-set update. Not only that, we get to see 20 additional new champions to be added, including three champions that have yet to appear in TFT. Not only that, there is one champion that will surprise you with this season's patch.

The Hextech Augments that will come to the mid-set update will reshuffle along with the 20 new champions. These Hextech Augments sometimes determine the outcome of the game due to it's additional bonus on specific traits. It also acts as an additional trait (sometimes counted as 2 of that trait) when chosen. Some of these augments will be determined by the existing classes as well as the new traits. Hextech and Debonair will join set 6.5 as the new traits for the patch. A quick peek on these two was done and Hextech will focus on having the Hexcore online, while Debonair trait utilizes “futuristic concoctions” to change the battle.

Some of the 20 new champions that will come to Neon Nights Set 6.5 are returning but three of them are new to the platform. Here’s the full list of champions revealed to join the TFT Set 6.5 update:

The three champions new to the platform are Alistar, Corki, and you saw it right, Silco! Arcane's main antagonist will be joining a Riot Games title for the first time. This means that TFT development team will be the first to use Silco's created model and animations. We have yet to know his abilities and what tier his unit is but all of us are excited for his arrival. With these coming champions, they will remove the Academy and Imperial trait to make way.

TFT Set 6.5 will previewed in the PBE in the coming weeks. You can try the new set before it goes live in the main platform. For now, you should enjoy the Gifts of the Golden Lantern while we have it.
