After months of teases and leaks, Armored Batman has finally glided his way into the Fortnite Item Shop.
This will be the fourth skin for the Dark Knight to be featured in Fortnite. The skin comes as a bonus item for any players who entered their in-game codes that have accompanied the last six issues of Batman X Fortnite: Zero Point. Zero Point is a tie-in comic written by DC brass alongside Epic's chief creative officer, Donald Mustard.
The cosmetic set will include the Exo-Glider, the Batarang Axe, and the Exo-Glider Cape. In total, the set sells for 2100 V-Bucks, or about $16.
Other characters in the tie-in series will include Harley Quinn, Catwoman Zero, and Deathstroke a.k.a. Slade Wilson.
We've seen other versions of Batman before including Batman Zero, Nolan's The Dark Knight Batman, and the traditional Batman. Wow, that's a lot of Caped Crusaders.
The armor is definitely a good look on Batman as he will be in constant battle throughout Fortnite.
This won't likely be the last DC crossover either as we've seen a lot of characters from the comics be brought into Fortnite. Characters such as The Flash, Beast Boy, Raven, and Aquaman. Even the Man of Steel will be making an appearance later in the season.
Fortnite is quite unstoppable when it comes to collaborations. No wonder why the game is still going strong to this day. They clearly know what the fans want and they will do everything in their marketing power just to give it to them.
