Former Chicago Bulls point guard and current ESPN analyst Jay Williams believes there's a connectivity issue between Bulls head coach Jim Boylen and his players.

Anyone with eyes can see that Bulls players just haven't meshed with Boylen and his coaching method yet:

The Bulls, after losing to the Thunder on Tuesday, are 20-39 on the season. They are in the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

Chicago fans desperately want owner Jerry Reinsdorf to fire John Paxson, Gar Forman and Boylen, but it likely won’t happen. Boylen is Paxson and Forman’s hiring, and he will do anything they ask since he received an undeserved contract extension this past summer.

Boylen had a mutiny on his hands last season and he has already gotten into a little spat with shooting guard Zach LaVine after benching the high-flyer against the Miami Heat. LaVine responded to the benching with 49 points and a game-winning shot versus the Hornets, but it’s pretty clear Zach and Boylen have a ways to go before they are on the same page.

More recently, LaVine has seemingly expressed frustration over Boylen taking timeouts late in losses that have already been decided. The two reportedly talked out those issues.

The Bulls were expected to compete for a playoff spot this season. Chicago is only six games out of the eighth seed, but that’s only because the back half of the Eastern Conference is so bad.
