The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints and look ahead to the Green Bay Packers, a team that, according to some, should not pose as much of a threat in the NFC Championship game.

On the daily Locked On Bucs podcast, James Yarcho and David Harrison talked about Tampa Bay advancing to the NFC Championship game and how they should be in a good spot when you compare how the Saints defense has performed this year compared to the Packers.

Yarcho: Mike Evans and Chris Godwin combined for five catches, 37 yards, and a touchdown, and the New Orleans Saints defense, in just about every category according to NFL stat tracking, is better than the Green Bay Packers defense. Now, the Green Bay Packers offense, in my eyes anyway, is more dangerous against this Buccaneers defense than this New Orleans offense was in this form. I do believe that missing Taysom Hill and Latavius Murray and they had a wide receiver or two that were a little bit banged up, so I feel like next weekend’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers offense is going to be a little bit more difficult. However, the Buccaneers still were able to put up points on a better statistical defense in the New Orleans Saints unit without getting their two largest playmaking wide receivers involved as much as you would like them to. They should get more involved next week and that speaks for even bigger possibilities. If the Buccaneers could put 30 points up against the Green Bay Packers defense, they have a good chance of coming out of Lambeau with a victory there.
