The Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers soundtrack has finally arrived on Spotify. It features a whopping 88 tracks and an almost 5-hour runtime. The Original Soundtrack first came out in Japan back in September 2019.

Final Fantasy XIV composer Masayoshi Soken composed most of the tracks, but it also features contributions from his contemporaries. This includes legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu. Alongside him is Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto. Additionally, prolific JRPG composer Kenji Ito, who is most well-known for his work in the SaGa series also contributed to the score.

The  Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers soundtrack on Spotify includes the music from Patch 4.4 “Prelude in Violet” and 4.5 “A Requiem for Heroes.” Of course, all of the tracks from the main expansion 5.0 Shadowbringers itself are also included.

Composer Masayoshi Soken has also covered the creation of the  Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers soundtrack in a developer's episode. It is available on YouTube, and delves into their creative and technical processes. Additionally, the episode also features FFXIV sound designer Go Kinuya.
