Fresh off their surprise run to the Eastern Conference Finals, the Atlanta Hawks are ready to take the next step in 2022 and make a run to the NBA Finals in the hopes of bringing home their first title in franchise history.

With Trae Young's continual rise to stardom, John Collins improving his game each season, and a stellar supporting cast of Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari, Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter, Clint Capela, and Lou Williams, the Hawks are primed for another deep postseason run after putting the league on notice last year.

With all this going for the Hawks, there's no doubt that they'll comeback even stronger this season and look to continually establish themselves as a legit threat to overtaking the Nets, Bucks, Sixers, and/or Heat for the Eastern Conference crown.

Looking forward to another exciting year, let's take a look at the Hawks player who is poised for a breakout year during the 2021-22 NBA season.

Hawks player poised for a breakout season: Cam Reddish

Heading into the 2021-22 NBA season, the Hawks will have Cam Reddish running with their second unit. Coming off the bench for Atlanta, Reddish could thrive as their new sixth man. That normally is a role played by two-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams, and he does still have plenty left in the tank, but it may be time for him to pass on the torch to one of their key rotation players and franchise cornerstones.

Still improving and expanding his game with each season, Reddish undoubtedly has the skills and perseverance to elevate his play and become a vital part of the Hawks success next season. Especially with him playing alongside All-Star combo guard and future league MVP Trae Young.

With Young's seamless ability to make everyone around him better on the offensive end, Reddish could become a more versatile scorer and give the Hawks even more offensive firepower than they already possess. Given he's only 22 years old, he could still develop into one of the league's more notable two-way players under the guidance and leadership of top-notch head coach Nate McMillan. McMillan completely transformed the culture of this team last season and played an intracule part in their playoff success.

Seeing as Reddish is still just scratching the surface of his potential, there's a great opportunity for him to make a big splash next season and make the Hawks an even harder out in the playoffs than their already set to be. Hoping to be a vital part to their success this season, Cam Reddish is set to breakout and put up some career numbers all across the board.

All the while continuing to grow and develop into an All-Star caliber role player that the Hawks know he's capable of becoming. So come the start of this season, be sure to keep an eye out for Reddish and see how he'll play a crucial part to their next deep playoff run that could see them overtake a few Eastern Conference powerhouses while making their first NBA Finals appearance since 1961.
