Free agent Chandler Parsons looks like he’ll be heading somewhere other than Dallas, after reports saying there's “no chance” he stays with the Mavericks surfaced.

Parsons met with the Blazers early Friday morning in Los Angeles, and the interest was high on both sides.

According to ESPN’s Mark Jones, the Blazers are offering Parsons a near max deal which will be in the area of 4 years, $94 million dollars.

Parsons will meet with the Memphis Grizzlies, who also have a scheduled meeting, and he'll possibly meet with a team suddenly in hot pursuit of Parsons, the Los Angeles Lakers.

After offering Timofey Mozgov a 4 year 65 million dollar contract, the Lakers have upwards of $45 million to spend on free agents, and Parsons could be a potential suitor for them.

If the Lakers are indeed ready to pay the max for his services, they should consider his injury history first. Parsons has never played a full 82 game season due to injuries, and he has missed an average of 20 games during the last two years.

When healthy he has averaged 13.7 points, 2.8 assists, and 4.7 rebounds in his five-year career. No meeting has been scheduled currently, and the Lakers will continue their free agent pursuits with or without Parsons.
