Tom Brady had to join in on the friendly competition brought by The Match Friday evening. Brooks Koepka tweeted a photo of himself and fellow golfer Bryson DeChambeau facing off before their one-on-one match. Holding them back, decorated golfer Phil Mickelson. Brady broke out the trolling Twitter fingers and replied, “I bet @PhilMickelson out-benches both of you. #dingding.”

Brady tweeted this two minutes before The Match was set to begin, so neither golfer has come back with anything…yet. While it's all in good fun, there's a part of me that thinks Brady could be speaking off of his emotions.

In July, Brady and Mickelson took on the team of DeChambeau and Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers in the fourth edition of The Match. DeChambeau and Rodgers come out of the charity event victorious, which makes me believe that Brady is definitely still thinking about that loss. Brady is a competitive guy, whether it's on the football field, under the lights of the Super Bowl, or in a friendly match of “super athlete” golf.

He even trolled himself following the competition on Twitter, practically apologizing to Mickelson for being his partner two years in a row.

All jokes aside, Capital One's The Match: Champions for Charity, is a great event that Brady continues to support, even when he isn't playing. The Match edition five is live at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas with the one-on-one showdown of Koepka and DeChambeau.
