The New Orleans Saints continue to win games without Drew Brees. Quarterback Taysom Hill led the Saints to his second straight win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Ross Jackson, the host of the daily Locked On Saints podcast, discussed why the Saints can win without Brees due to Hill being able to prepare for multiple game plans.

Jackson: I understand why they wanted to be more conservative with this game plan but with him being more conservative you kind of hedge your bets or you hedge a little bit what you’re able to actually apply with the evaluation process of Taysom Hill. Is there anything you can take away from this win when you’re talking about Taysom Hill when the fact of the matter is yes. First of all, that he can execute that game and that he can execute in that case two different game plans. He can be the quarterback and go out there and push the ball down the field that can run and create and be exciting and be that sort of toy that Sean Payton is very excited about. But he can also go out there and just simply manage a game, do what it is that the coaches want him to do and of course he wants to be competitive he wants to light the scoreboard up -every quarterback does- especially a guy that has an exciting skill set like him. With him being able to reign and make conscious and smart decisions- even though some of his decisions were not smart.
