Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Paul George went for a double pump dunk as the time expires, as if he wants to show that he has no respect for the Portland Trail Blazers.

The dunk at the buzzer drew raves from fans, as there is a gentleman's agreement between two teams to let the time expire when the game is already decided. OKC was leading, 118-108, but instead of dribbling the ball out, George wanted to add insult to injury with a highlight dunk, which eventually did not count.

Thunder head coach Billy Donovan came into George's defense. He pointed out that Portland actually attempted a shot before that play. And just to return the favor, George also decided to play the game out until the final second of Game 3 on Friday night.

“My feeling was they probably shot a shot,” Donovan said via Ben Golliver of the Washington Post. “Paul kind of went in and dunked it. Both teams played the game all the way out.”

George also declined to talk about the dunk during the post-game conference. The Thunder finally nailed one against the Thunder after losing in the first two games of their first-round playoff series against the Trail Blazers.

George shot just 3-for-16 from the field but finished with 22 points on top of six rebounds and six assists. Russell Westbrook was a man on a mission, bouncing back from a poor Game 2 performance with a 33-point game. Westbrook also tallied 11 assists, five rebounds, and a block for the Thunder.

Oklahoma City will look to level the series when they host Portland again on Sunday at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
