Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul led his team to a massive Game 4 win over the Houston Rockets on Monday afternoon as the unlikely playoff team has managed to tie the series at two games apiece. With Paul leading the way for the Thunder, and then some, against the Rockets, the Thunder have now won two consecutive games over Houston after initially falling behind 2-0 in the series.

However, Paul continues to shed light on things that are much more important than professional basketball. With Paul utilizing his media availability to bring attention to the shooting of Jacob Blake, the veteran signal caller also spoke about the late Kobe Bryant as August 24th has always been a day of celebration and now remembrance.

“All I can think about is what Bean would have been like in this bubble,” Paul told reporters on Monday afternoon. “Kobe was a killer. Before games, I hit the stanchion eight times, look up and say, ‘Let’s go Bean.’ I know there’s not a game going on that he’s not watching.”

Bryant, who would have been 42 years old on Sunday, tragically lost his life earlier this year as the Los Angeles Lakers legend was killed in a helicopter accident back in January. With just about everyone involved in the “NBA Bubble” paying homage to the late Bryant on both Sunday and Monday, Paul has seemingly been doing so this whole time as players have been down in Orlando for more than a month as it stands today.
