Who could forget Chris Paul’s iconic “snitching” on the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the season? The Oklahoma City Thunder star called out Jordan Bell for having an untucked jersey as he checked in, which led to a technical foul that helped give OKC a wild come-from-behind overtime victory.

Now, as the two teams matched again on Monday night, Paul trolled the Timberwolves by strolling onto the court with an untucked jersey.

A spiteful legend:

After being traded away from the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook, CP3 is having a tremendous resurgence with the Thunder, and he’s looking like the Chris Paul of old – after many pundits and opposing fans claimed that the 34-year-old is washed after 14 seasons in the league.

While his athleticism might have waned over the years, Paul’s game has never been reliant on quick-twitch movement. After all, his style of play is far more methodical and focused on “getting to his spots.”

Paul has helmed the Thunder to a surprising 22-17 record, which is firmly the seventh seed in the Western Conference (with chances to move up as the season progresses).

As part of an interesting and entertaining three-guard lineup with second-year player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and speedy German Dennis Schroder, the Thunder are gashing teams that do not have three players that can guard the speed of Schroder, the size, craft and length of SGA and the overall point guard mastery displayed on a night-to-night basis by Paul.

While the Timberwolves will likely not enjoy Paul’s petty shenanigans, basketball fans should be glad that Paul is back to his brilliant ways this season.
