Enes Kanter came to the defense of the Oklahoma City Thunder, as he expressed his love and admiration for the organization and “those cats” which he calls family in a heartfelt statement he posted on Twitter.

Kanter's post was likely in response to Kevin Durant's Twitter fail in which he provided criticism of the Thunder wherein Durant said via an alternate account he didn’t like playing for the organization or head coach Billy Donovan and that Russell Westbrook didn’t have very good players or “cats” to play with.

It's no surprise that Kanter is one of the Thunder “cats” to claw back at Durant's latest jabs toward the organization. There is no love lost between the Turkish big man and Durant, who have had a fair bit of history ever since the latter left OKC.

Durant's latest comments should only reignite the fervor of the Thunder fans' animosity toward him once he returns to town this upcoming season in the same way Kanter's comments should only endear him to the home crowd.
