Free agent center Eric Moreland has agreed to a training camp deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Moreland played with the Toronto Raptors last season, although he was rarely used. The 27-year-old played in just five regular season games in 2018-19 and eight games in the 2019 playoffs, where the Raptors won the title over the Golden State Warriors in six games.

Eric Moreland has career NBA averages of 1.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 83 games with the Sacramento Kings, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns and Raptors while shooting 53.7 percent from the field.

The Thunder had a lot of roster turnover this summer. The franchise traded Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers and Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets. The Thunder acquired Chris Paul from the Rockets and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari from the Clippers.

Patrick Patterson was waived by the Thunder as well, so OKC will see if Moreland can fill that void.

The Thunder's roster is headlined by Paul, Gilgeous-Alexander, Gallinari, Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder, Andre Roberson, Nerlens Noel and Terrance Ferguson. It's going to be tough for OKC to make the playoffs next season in the rugged Western Conference sans Westbrook and George.
