The Oklahoma City Thunder have another injury to deal with. Just moments after learning that shooting guard Terrance Ferguson would not be able to return to Wednesday night’s road game against the Golden State Warriors due to an ankle issue, the Thunder saw rookie Hamidou Diallo suffer a scary injury after taking a nasty fall while trying to pull down a rebound.

Diallo seemingly picked up the injury after Warriors big man Jonas Jerebko landed on the Thunder youngster’s legs, which then bent in a way that legs shouldn’t.

Play continued for a few seconds before the game’s officials stopped it, so that the Thunder could attend to Diallo, who was writhing in pain on the floor.

Although there’s yet to be a full disclosure regarding the extent of Diallo’s injury, it’s serious enough for him to get stretchered off the floor.

It’s probably safe to assume that Diallo won’t be able to play this Friday, when the Thunder hosts Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Bobcats at home.

Before exiting the game, Diallo managed to chip in three points, six rebounds, two assists, and a block in 17 minutes of floor duty.

The Thunder ended up winning the game, 123-95, behind Dennis Schroder’s 32 points off the bench.
