Over the course of the past few seasons, some missed calls during games have been well documented. Videos with a number of them have been made and are available to be viewed online, with most of the clips including traveling violations that were not made by the referees.

During Wednesday's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks, another one happened when Jerami Grant drove hard to the basket for an emphatic slam. While it was a highlight-reel-worthy play, he clearly got away with a travel, as he took at least four steps without dribbling the ball. It got the fans, as well as Rick Carlisle, questioning the game officials on how they missed the obvious call.

The basket that counted from Jerami Grant proved to be very costly for the home team, as they only lost by two points to the Thunder in overtime, 111-110. The 23-year-old Syracuse product was one of five players on his team to finish the contest in double figures in scoring, as he had 12 points, to go along with five rebounds.

Grant did not just get away from a turnover in this game. He also apparently escaped a serious injury.

Russell Westbrook led the way for them with 30 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, while Paul George chipped in with 23 points, 11 rebounds and six assists of his own.

The Mavs, on the other hand, had strong games from Harrison Barnes and Dwight Powell, who combined for 47 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. It was their seventh loss in their last nine outings which dropped their record to 19-42, and are likely headed for the lottery after this season.

Grant and the Thunder now travel (no pun intended) to Arizona, as they prepare to face the Phoenix Suns this Friday. The Thunder have won three of their last four road games.
