For the second year in a row following their split, superstars Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant of the defending-champion Golden State Warriors will be on the same team again. When asked about how he has moved on from his days playing alongside Westbrook in OKC during All-Star media day, Durant had a hilarious NSFW response to the question and admitted he was wrong for previously acting the way he did.
“I just got out of my own head and got out of my own way. I stopped thinking it was even a thing, you know? I feel like I f—– that up… whoops, sorry,” Durant said with a smile as the room of media members laughed. “I feel like I made it a thing when it shouldn't have been, so it's cool to kind of get past that and just appreciate these guys for who they are and what they do. It's all love at the end of the day.”
A video clip of the interview, which was posted to Twitter by Warriors beat writer Anthony Slater of The Athletic on Saturday, can be viewed below in all of its glory.
KD blamed himself for what seemed like icy relationship between him and Westbrook at ASW last year, it's been better this year, said he f***** it up acting like it was a thing and just needed to get out of his own head pic.twitter.com/xdIM5NAJkJ

It seems like the two stars are starting to get along again and communicate with each other, as they're both on Team LeBron for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game against Durant's teammate in star point guard Stephen Curry's Team Stephen. It will be interesting to see the dynamic between both players this year.
On the year, Durant is putting up quite an impressive stat line in his second season with the Warriors and is currently averaging 26.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.9 blocked shots per game in 50 starts.
