Mike Muscala hasn't played a game for the Oklahoma City Thunder yet, but he's already “really impressed” with the organization.

Muscala signed a two-year, $4.3 million contract with the Thunder this summer. He agreed to his deal before OKC traded Paul George and Russell Westbrook. The team gave him the opportunity to explore his options on the free agent market after trading the two superstars, but Muscala kept his word and signed with OKC.

“I’ve been really impressed. I think me being from Minnesota, kind of a suburb, and where I live now is in a small-town area, I’ve enjoyed the vibe here in the city so far, and it’s a really impressive organization, from Sam (Presti) all the way down,” Muscala told Brett Dawson of The Athletic.

“A couple of guys, strength coach and an assistant coach, came out to visit me in Minnesota last week. Everybody seems like good people here. So I’m really enjoying it so far.”

Mike Muscala played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers last season. He averaged 7.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 64 games while shooting 40.2 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Muscala will stretch the floor for the Thunder with his perimeter shooting.
