The Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to make an aggressive bid for Dwyane Wade, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Paul George is expected to play a large role in luring him to OKC, after the two spent a good part of their offseason working out together.

Wade's buyout isn't completely finalized, which could make it tough for teams to express immediate interest, rather making his future destination a mystery with offers likely to come from the frontrunner Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, and now the Thunder.

Making a shift to the West will be a hard proposition, as Wade stands a much-easier road to another championship in the East — a conference where he won't have to deal with so many star-studded teams in a weekly basis.

While his bond with George has proven true this offseason, Wade and LeBron James weren't only draftmates, but have known each other even before then — making it a tough relationship to break up at this pivotal point of his career.

The 36-year-old is also likely to get a starting spot regardless of where he goes, but stands to have a bigger role in Cleveland, where he won't compete with three others who are accustomed to taking 20 shots per game and having the ball on their hands at all times.

Ultimately, the fact that the Thunder have added themselves to the Wade sweepstakes only confirms the organization's willingness to go all-in on this team and make a dent on this Western Conference coming into the start of the season.
