Ever since the Oklahoma City Thunder (43-29) inserted newly-acquired shooting guard Corey Brewer into the starting lineup, they have not lost a single game. That streak continued today with an impressive, albeit highly controversial 132-125 victory on the road over the red-hot Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.

After he reached a buyout of his contract and was waived by the Los Angeles Lakers, he signed with the Thunder in early March and helped the Thunder improve to a perfect 6-0 with him in the starting lineup. On the afternoon, Brewer helped contribute to OKC snapping Toronto's 11-game winning streak by scoring in double figures with 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting, three steals, and two rebounds.

Heading into Sunday's game, Brewer had started five contests at shooting guard for the Thunder and was averaging an impressive 14.8 points on 52.3 percent shooting from the field, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 steals per game in roughly 30.6 minutes of action per contest.

However, it was Thunder superstar point guard Russell Westbrook who stole most of the spotlight with yet another triple-double effort.

“I am a man on a mission. We've got to take care of business. This time of year, you've got to turn it up a notch,” Westbrook said, via a tweet from Thunder beat writer Erik Horne of The Oklahoman.

In 37 minutes of action, the seven-time NBA All-Star and reigning MVP scored a game-high 37 points on 15-of-22 shooting, 14 assists, 13 rebounds, and two steals on the afternoon.

OKC will look for its seventh straight victory on Tuesday night when they travel to take on yet another elite Eastern Conference opponent in the Boston Celtics.
