The Oklahoma City Thunder have decided to sign undrafted Texas A&M center Tyler Davis to a two-way NBA contract, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Davis, now 21 years of age, spent three seasons with the Texas A&M Aggies, where he led the team in scoring as a junior with 14.9 points per game. The 6-foot-10 big man finished second in rebounding, just behind first-round pick Robert Williams, who pulled down 8.9 rebounds per game.

Though he was undrafted, Davis spent some time with the Brooklyn Nets' Summer League squad, averaging 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in four games.

Davis has also spent time with Puerto Rico's national team. At the 2017 FIBA AmeriCup, the first-team All-SEC selection racked up averages of 12.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

Davis began his collegiate career weighing in at 300 pounds. However, he has worked hard to transform his body and now weighs roughly 266 pounds.

By signing a two-way contract with the Thunder, Davis is eligible to spend up to 45 days with the team on a prorated NBA salary. However, several reports are indicating that he'll spend most of the season with the OKC Blue in the G League.

With Davis' signing, both of Oklahoma City's two-way spots are now filled. Deonte Burton, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound guard who played his college ball at Iowa State, signed with the Thunder in July.
