As LeBron James gets set to make his home debut with the Los Angeles Lakers tonight against the Houston Rockets, there is another NBA star getting asked questions about what the fans' reception will be like. That's right. For whatever reason, Los Angeles native Paul George was asked his thoughts about what should be expected from the city in James' debut.

Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints shared George's answer, which certainly was not very insightful.

In case you would like to see the clip of George's response, Azarly has you covered there as well.

George was rumored to be very interested in signing with the Lakers heading into the offseason. He was the second biggest name on the market next to James and there was a very strong belief that he would end up teaming up with James in L.A. As everyone knows, George decided to sign a long-term deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

James made his debut with the Lakers against the Portland Trail Blazers and scored 26 points to go along with 12 rebounds and six assists. Unfortunately, that was not enough to lead the Lakers to a victory.

More than likely, James' debut in Los Angeles is going to be a raucous occasion. Los Angeles has been waiting on the rebuilding process to pay off and signing the best player in the world certainly did just that.

Los Angeles is viewed as a contender in the West simply because they have LeBron, but they still have more work to do on the roster around him. That was made clear in the season opener against Portland.

Expect to see Staples Center have an electric atmosphere tonight and for the fans to feed James' hunger. He should have yet another monster game for the Lakers, and hopefully, they can pull off a win.
