The Oklahoma City Thunder saw Paul George adjust to playing alongside their franchise superstar in Russell Westbrook pretty well, and even though the team saw a first round playoff exit, the team has reason to be optimistic if they can convince George to re-sign with the team in free agency.

Coming into the season, George not only had a new team, but a new pair of shoes released. The Nike PG 1's made their debut this season, and it was a popular hit not only among the fans but among the players as well. According to ESPN, 42 active players across the league's 30 teams rocked George's PG 1's this year.

ESPN's graphic also shows that Boston Celtics forward Kyrie Irving also had two of the most popular kicks in the game, with his Nike Kyrie 3's being worn by 32 players and his Nike Kyrie 4's being worn by 22 players.

George took to Instagram to post the graphic and express his gratitude for the feat.

Blessed and thankful y’all rock with the kid from Palmdale! Wait til y’all see what’s up next 😈

George has a big decision ahead of him, and while many expect him to sign with the hometown Los Angeles Lakers in free agency, the Thunder and his friendship with Russell Westbrook should not be ruled out so quickly.
