Just when you think Sam Presti is done making moves, he comes right back with another. The Oklahoma City Thunder have a deal in place that sends Steven Adams to the New Orleans Pelicans, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Although no official details have been announced, it's safe to assume that Oklahoma City will be getting draft compensation in return. That's been Sam Presti's modus operandi as of late, shipping out his veteran players in exchange for future assets.

The firesale started off with 6MOY awardee Dennis Schroder. The German scorer was shipped off to join LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for a 1st round pick and Danny Green.

Green himself wasn't on the OKC roster for long. The veteran shooter was included in a trade for the Philadelphia 76ers' Al Horford and his big contract and two more draft picks.

Even the Thunder's All-Star leader Chris Paul was sent off to the valley in Arizona to join Devin Booker. The returning pieces in Kelly Oubre and Ricky Rubio have already been traded away as well, going to the Warriors and Timberwolves respectively.

For the Pelicans, this gives them a solid frontcourt veteran to pair with Zion Williamson. With Derrick Favors leaving the squad to return to the Utah Jazz, Steven Adams will be a more than capable replacement to bang bodies down low.
