Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook joined some elite company after yet another stellar performance in Monday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Westbrook bounced back from one of his worst performances of the season on Sunday night (he scored nine points on 4-22 shooting from the field and 0-8 shooting from three in a losing effort) by grabbing a triple-double with 32 points (on 13-24 shooting from the field), 11 rebounds and 11 assists in helping the Thunder get back on track.

It marked the 10th triple-double of the season for Westbrook, which allowed him to join Hall of Fame point guards Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson as just the third player in NBA to notch at least 10 triple-doubles in five consecutive seasons, according to StatMuse's Justin Kubatko.

It seemed inevitable that Westbrook would rebound in a big way after his nine-point performance in Sunday's loss in Dallas and he did just that in the rematch in Oklahoma City.

Westbrook has one of the most unique skillsets of any player in the NBA and his ability to impact the game even when he's not scoring continues to be an invaluable asset for Thunder head coach Billy Donovan's team as they move throughout the season.

Of course, Oklahoma City desperately needed the win on Monday after losing three of four, so perhaps that will give Westbrook and company the boost that they need to get back on track.

The Thunder now sit at 23-13 on the season and now faces a crucial two-game road trip to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.

After that, the Thunder will return home for back-to-back games against the Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves.
