It's not often that NBA players get starstruck, but that's exactly what happened to Oklahoma City Thunder superstar point guard Russell Westbrook, who had the opportunity to hang out with former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Michelle Obama recently released her book “Becoming,” and Russell Westbrook is excited to read it:

Russell Westbrook and the Thunder are in Denver to take on the Nuggets Friday. Michelle Obama spoke at the Pepsi Center on Thursday as part of her book tour. The first African American First Lady of the United States is an inspiration to the African American community.

Thunder fans are hoping Westbrook will be a little extra charged Friday night after meeting Michelle Obama. The seven-time All-Star already has a history in Denver. Last season, Westbrook pushed a fan who stepped onto the court away after the fan came onto the court and got in Westbrook's face. The former MVP also got into it with the Nuggets' mascot one time when he wouldn't let the mascot hit a half-court shot. Just Westbrook being Westbrook.

On the season, Russell Westbrook is averaging 22.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game while shooting 44.9 percent from the field, 22.3 percent from beyond the arc and 60.7 percent from the free-throw line.
