Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook and his family got an early Christmas gift.

Russell Westbrook and his wife, Nina, welcomed twin girls to the world over the weekend. They named them Skye and Jordyn.

Congratulations to Westbrook and his wife on this joyous moment for them.

This is the third child together for Westbrook and his wife. They had a baby boy last year.

In the meantime, his team, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been winning without him in the lineup. The Thunder have won three in a row and currently have a 10-5 record.

When Westbrook returns to the lineup, he should not miss a beat. He's averaging 24.1 points, 8.9 assists, 8.3 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.

But, at this point, basketball is second right now for Westbrook and his family. It is not known how much longer Westbrook will be out (he was dealing with an ankle injury before), but he should be back pretty soon.

Once he comes back, the Thunder will welcome Westbrook back with open arms. Westbrook is the heart and soul of the Thunder team.

This is a very joyous moment for Russell Westbrook and his family, and he should be able to take all the time off he needs to help his wife and new twin daughters.
