The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without center Steven Adams and small forward Andre Roberson when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Adams suffered a left knee contusion in Monday's loss to the Houston Rockets, while Roberson has yet to play this season because of the knee injury which sidelined him all of last season.

No one really knows when Roberson is going to play again for the Thunder. Roberson has had some bad luck as he recovers from a ruptured left patellar tendon suffered during the 2017-18 season. The Thunder swingman sustained two setbacks in his left knee to derail his comeback last season.

Roberson’s impact on the game is mostly on the defensive end of the floor. He is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, as he made the 2017 All-Defensive team. Roberson signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Thunder back in 2017.

It takes a lot for Adams to miss a game, as he's as tough as they come. The Thunder are going to have a hard time defeating the Blazers without their starting big man. Adams is putting up 6.0 points and 11.5 rebounds through OKC's first four games.

The Thunder are 1-3. They've lost to the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Rockets, and defeated the Golden State Warriors for their lone win.
