The Oklahoma City Thunder avoid dropping three straight with a 114-112 victory over the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are now losers of 20-straight, easily the largest losing streak in the NBA right now. This was certainly a tank battle as the Rockets and Thunder are two of the worst teams in the NBA at this point and both are likely sellers at the upcoming deadline. However, the game was entertaining throughout.

The final seconds of the game were nail-biters. Ending with a heroic block by Lugentz Dort on John Wall.

Dort was impressive on more than just the defensive end as he went for a team-high 23 points while guarding John Wall the whole game. For the Rockets, Christian Wood, Victor Oladipo, and Wall all went for over 20 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the smothering defense of the Thunder.

After losing 20-straight games, the Rockets are on an incredible slide. They will be one of the most interesting teams to monitor at the deadline this year because they have a lot of interesting veterans to monitor. They have already traded James Harden and PJ Tucker this season and more are likely to come. Danuel House Jr, Eric Gordon, and Ben McClemore are all names who likely be on other teams in less than a week.

The Thunder won even without having their star guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Thunder are filled with fun young talent, but that age is likely why the team is so inconsistent. Dort was the player to step-up, but there are certainly games where no one does. The Thunder have been the exact type of roller coaster you expect from a young team and that will only be exacerbated after some of their veterans are traded at the deadline.
