It’s no secret that the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking for a replacement for Andre Roberson who will be out for the remainder of the season due to a ruptured patella he suffered. There have been some players linked to them, but it’s still up in the air who they will eventually go for before the trade deadline on Thursday, and who they are willing to give up.

One of their players that has been generating interest from teams around the league is rookie Terrance Ferguson. He could be the asset they can use to bring in a key piece for them and soften the blow of losing Roberson. However, the Thunder apparently have no plans of parting ways with the 19-year-old as they are intrigued with his potential, according to Ian Begley of ESPN and Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript.

In the 39 games he’s appeared in, Ferguson is only averaging 2.8 points and 0.9 rebounds in 12.7 minutes, but he has started the past 12 games for them and has provided the team with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. He has also shown that he is not afraid of defending the best shooting guards and even small forwards of their opponents.

Tony Allen, Rodney Hood and Avery Bradley are just some of the players rumored to be on the Thunder’s radar and it will be interesting to see if they can add either of them before Thursday. How they will pull it off and what they will give up in exchange is also worth keeping an eye on, but for now, it appears that Ferguson will not be part of any package the team will offer.
