Reigning NBA MVP and budding fashion icon Russell Westbrook is out and about in New York. When he’s not balling out in star-studded pickup games or dueling with Odell Beckham Jr. on the dance floor, he’s making rounds on TV to talk fashion and of course, promote his coffee table book titled, Russell Westbrook: Style Drivers, which was released earlier this month.

After guesting on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon sporting a pair of pink sweatpants that might be visible from all the way up Earth’s orbit, Westbrook made an appearance on Good Morning America to discuss his unique fashion. He also went on to talk about how he got interested in it in the first place. Brodie is staying in New York for the meantime with the Fashion Week about to roll its red carpet in the Big Apple this month.

For added fun, Westbrook was also asked for some fashion tips, even helping host and ex-New York Giant defensive end Michael Strahan dress up from a collection of clothing articles and accessories on the set.

Westbrook surely is having a great offseason. While he’s yet to sign an extension with the Thunder, he’s recently agreed to a lucrative 10-year deal with the Jordan Brand. Basketball could wait for Russell Westbrook, though. For now, he appears to be more focused on his other passion – fashion.
