Today has been an eventful day for the Oklahoma City Thunder organization and its fans because the team’s general manager in Sam Presti somehow found a way to flip Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a future draft pick into now ex-New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.

Just several weeks removed from duping the Indiana Pacers in a trade that netted them Paul George, the Thunder now found themselves as owners of the newest super-triumvirate in the NBA with Anthony, George, and of course Russell Westbrook in the fold.

The Anthony trade to the Thunder sent shockwaves across the league and social media. It has sent even NBA players into a reaction frenzy. Interestingly enough, Westbrook didn’t appear to be that excited to know that the Thunder just got a huge shot in the arm with the addition of Anthony to the squad based on the very first social media post he made after the trade made the news.

The reigning NBA MVP instead opted to put up a short clip of his infant son, Noah, playing his “new toy”.

You don’t have to read between the lines too hard to connect his son’s “new toy” to the fact that Westbrook has a shiny new All-Star running mate to play with.

Very subtle and creative we must say, Mr. Westbrook.
