Andre Roberson had a solid season last year, as he was able to showcase his impressive skill set, especially on the defensive end. He did not shy away from defending some of the best shooting guards and small forwards of the league, even taking it on as a challenge to himself to limit their production. However, it’s no secret that his free throw shooting still needs to be worked on, as he has struggled to make shots from that distance, making him a liability on the court as he gets fouled on purpose.

The Oklahoma City Thunder guard once again failed on a free throw attempt miserably during their preseason game against Melbourne United on Sunday. The ball hit nothing but air and was not even close to hitting the rim at all.

Last year, Roberson only shot 42.3 percent from the foul line and his average went down further to 14.3 percent during the playoffs. Head coach Billy Donovan was forced to substitute him before hitting the last two minutes of quarters in order to prevent their opponents to intentionally foul him.

If he can start improving on it though, it will be a huge boost to the Thunder's chances of winning a title. It could also take his career to new heights as he will be seen as a threat on both ends of the floor and could open more opportunities for his teammates to score on easy baskets.
