With the league on hiatus and the players self-isolating like all of us, NBA players are finding creative ways to work out while spending newfound time with family. After Russell Westbrook sent nominations out to other NBA players and friends to continue the push-up challenge, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul reluctantly) accepted.

CP3 posted his rendition on his Instagram story, showing the veteran Point God (and All Star dad) performing his set of push-ups with his seven-year old daughter, Camryn, aboard his back.

“@russwest44 Leave me alone lol…My kids [too] big for this!!” The Thunder star captioned the video.

Paul nominated Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Rudy Gay, among other dad-friends, to take on the push-up challenge next.

Russ with the challenge, CP3 with the answer! Look at our PG’s getting along 😭 from rockets

Westbrook posted his push-up challenge on his Instagram story, showing him completing his 10 push ups with his two-year old, Noah, strapped onto his back to add some resistance weight. The caption over Westbrook’s video reads “Here u go!! @coachdrewjones…Throw your kid on your back and give me 10!!”

The Rockets All-Star tagged a slew of fellow ballers and friends in his post, including Chris Paul, LeBron James, Kevin Hart, Austin Rivers, Jeff Green, P.J. Tucker, Kevin Hart and Thabo Sefolosha.

Last summer, the Rockets and Thunder swapped Paul and Westbrook in a blockbuster deal that also sent 2024 and 2026 first-round picks, as well as pick swaps, to Oklahoma City.
