Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook is widely known for his relentlessness on the court. Off the court, however, apart from his flamboyant sartorial sense, he also likes to have fun with the media.

In a video by Fred Katz, posted by Dime on UPROXX, Westbrook recently called out a reporter who was apparently late for a presser.

The rest of the reporters are no strangers to Westbrook's antics with them. He has developed a reputation for answering their questions with motherhood statements when he's not in the mood. He also jokes with them from time to time, as seen in the video.

It seems that messing with the media is a way for Westbrook to let off some steam. Since stepping into the limelight, he's been known as a fierce and ruthless competitor. There's not one possession where he stays lax. He always puts immense pressure on the defense. When he's not slashing to the hoop, he's always looking for the open man.

His performance on the court has been powering the Thunder for a six-game winning streak. Currently, they are fourth in the Western Conference with a decent 43-29 record. Another playoff berth is at hand. Yet given the tight playoff race in the West, Russ knows that there are no guarantees.

As reported by Erik Horne of the Oklahoman, Russ says that he's a man on a mission:

His words are short, concise, yet potent with meaning. At times one may wish to hear more words from Russ, with hopes to pick a little bit more from his mind.
