The Oklahoma City Thunder are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, but before he started his work night, Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook was still in dad mode.

Westbrook warmed up with his son, Noah, at Chesapeake Energy Arena and luckily cameras were there to catch all the action:

This is awesome. Nothing like having your son with you on gameday to warm up. Noah shot 100 percent from the floor, too. Sure, it wasn't on the real hoop. Instead, it was in his dad's arms. It still counts, though.

Russell Westbrook and the Thunder are 26-17 on the season, good for third place in the Western Conference standings. OKC is just 5-5 in their last 10 games, though.

The Thunder are playing a Lakers team on Thursday which is still without superstar LeBron James, so barring something unforeseen happening, OKC should come away with the win.

Westbrook is having another stellar season this year. The former MVP is averaging 21.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game. Westbrook is looking to average a triple-double for a third consecutive season.

Russell Westbrook is still struggling with his outside stroke. The explosive guard is shooting just 22.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Maybe the seven-time All-Star can ask his son for some tips since Noah shot 100 percent on Thursday.
