Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook is far from shy when it comes to expressing emotions on and off the court. In Tuesday night's matchup with the L.A. Clippers, things were no different.

Clippers guard Patrick Beverly is similar to Westbrook in the sense that neither shies away from speaking out. Clearly, Westbrook managed to get under Beverly's skin early in this game. The former MVP motioned to that he was ‘rocking the baby to sleep' after blowing by Beverly for an easy layup.  As solid of a defender as Beverly is, Westbrook can be practically unguardable at times so it's really no surprise why Beverly is having early frustrations.

Russell Westbrook does not need any further motivation to silence defenders. The former UCLA star has always played bigger than his size. The layup was a surprisingly mellow finish for Westbrook compared to his tenacious slam-dunk style. Westbrook has always played with a chip on his shoulder and does not back down from any competition.

He has averaged 22.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 7.7 assists in three games this season. Westbrook missed the first two games of this season recovering from offseason knee surgery. Russell Westbrook has brought his tenacity and overly-competitive nature that the team desperately missed in his absence. The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to add another win after defeating the Phoenix Suns this past Sunday night for their first win of the season.
